What are the different verification statuses?
The verification status for an artifact can be any of the following:
Unverified:
- No verification request has been made for this artifact.
- The member is free to edit the details of this artifact.
Pending:
- A verification request has been made.
- An email has been sent to the verifier requesting their verification.
- The verifier has yet to send their verification response
- The member can't edit the details of this artifact, unless the verification request is removed
Granted:
- The verifier has approved the verification
- If the artifact is used within a members ePortfolio then the artifact will be clearly marked as Verified
- Recipients of an ePortfolio will have the option of requesting further information from the verifier.
- The member can't edit the details of this artifact, unless the verification is removed
Denied:
- The verifier has denied the verification
- The artifact can still be used within a members ePortfolio.
- Recipients of an ePortfolio will not be aware that verification request was made.
- The member can't edit the details of this artifact, unless the verification is removed
