What are the differences between ePortfolio types?
The ePortfolio types offered when you create a new ePortfolio are Standard and Learning Record. Members can make use of both types if required.
The main features of these ePortfolio types are as follows:
Standard ePortfolio
- used as a general career development ePortfolio including for; job applications, professional development uses, CV and resume uses, lifelong learning, staff profiling, and accreditation
- pages offered are; Profile, Career Summary, Education, Employment History, Awards, Skills, Licenses, Photo Gallery and Additional Information
- pages can be hidden from view if they are not applicable or relevant to the member
- pages can be shared across ePortfolios of this type
Learning Record ePortfolio
- used in any learning context a member wants to; keep personal record of a learning experience, communicate their thoughts on what they have learned, record and communicate tasks asked of them by a teacher, submit work for review or assessment
- pages offered are; My Work; My Reflections and Photo Gallery
- pages can be hidden from view if they are not applicable or relevant to the member
- pages can be shared across ePortfolios of this type
