Are verifier details displayed in a members ePortfolio?
The process of verifying an artifact relies on contact being possible between the recipients of an ePortfolio and the verifying person.
The following verifier details are displayed in the ePortfolio:
- Verifier name
- Verifier role
- Organisation (if provided)
Please note the verifier email address is not displayed in the ePortfolio. The VUMI ePortfolio contains a form for recipients to contact a verifier.
By agreeing to the VUMI Terms and Conditions the verifier agrees that they can be contacted by future recipients of an ePortfolio wishing to confirm details of their relationship with the member and more about the artifact involved.
If a verifier doesn't agree to these terms and conditions then they can choose to opt-out of the verification process at any time. See the following page for more information about opting out:
